LOUISE IS A TEAM MEMBER of the Accounting department at Socket Mobile, where she has been keeping vendors and internal customers informed and happy for six years as our accounts payable representative. On a daily basis, Louise handles the routing and organization of paperwork that falls under the accounts payable umbrella.
In accounts payable, every issue is of the highest importance and she works diligently to stay on top of things. “I guess you can say I’m never bored,” is her response to how the Sarbanes Oxley Act has changed the way she prioritizes her work day.
As for what she likes most about working at Socket Mobile, Louise says, “the casual, open atmosphere, flexible schedule and the very short commute,” keep her coming back every day. She also likes that there is a nice blend of ages, cultures and personalities. “We’re a colorful bunch, and there’s never a dull moment.”
When not working, Louise enjoys gardening, swimming, shopping, exercising and especially singing. “I’m a Karaoke junkie,” she admits. In her past, she participated in charity events that were musically themed, and whenever she is granted the opportunity, she sings for her colleagues at company gatherings.
Louise lives in Hayward with her husband and is adamant that she is "very lucky to have lots of friends that keep life interesting.”
