Socket Mobile has opened its first dedicated European Service Center, located in Regensburg, Germany. The repair facility will process customer service requests as part of the Premium coverage level of the SocketCare Service Program. “In conjunction with the launch of the SocketCare program, we opened our first European Service Center to offer our customers quick and reliable support in their own time zones, making it easier for them to do business with us,” said Bob Zink, senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing at Socket Mobile. “We are committed to providing high quality products backed by outstanding service.”
The SocketCare Service Program enables customers in Europe to select from a one-year or three-year coverage option featuring fast product repair or replacement and return, as well as technical support for the SoMo 650 handheld computer, the Cordless Hand Scanner (CHS) Series 7 and the Cordless Ring Scanner (CRS) Series 9. The Service Center also offers support in German and English, and can be reached online, as well as by phone for premium members.
