In February, the company released version 2 of the Socket Bluetooth Cordless Hand Scanner Series 7. Improvements include:
ActivePairing support for both Windows Mobile and Windows XP/Vista.
Improved ActivePairing features, including the Permanent Pair option, which makes the CHS automatically connect to the computer after it is turned on.
Trigger lockout feature lets you configure how long the CHS will wait for scanned barcode data to reach the computer before the CHS can scan another barcode.
Longer battery life.
New beep and LED patterns to match the CRS.
Bluetooth Device Address printed on a label inside the CHS.
