Socket design and technology innovations have advanced the capabilities of our Data Collection and Connectivity products. These fully-integrated solutions—hardware, software drivers and tools—are available to qualified developers, OEMs, ODMs and third party companies.

Bluetooth Wireless Technology
Socket enables developers to incorporate Class 1 or 2 Bluetooth wireless technology into printers, handheld computers and other devices. Our SMD or plug-in solutions are targeted for Windows Mobile 2003/5.0 and Window CE 4.2/5.0 based systems.

Wireless LAN Modules
Socket’s Go Wi-Fi! 802.11b/g modules and development kits offer either CompactFlash or SDIO interfaces. These SMD modules integrate into Windows Mobile 2003/2003SE/5.0 or Windows CE 4.2/5.0 devices; Linux and RTOS support are also available.

Wireless LAN Plug-in Cards
The Socket Go Wi-Fi! External Antenna cards enable you to embed 802.11b/g WLAN technology into your Windows Mobile 2003/5.0 or Windows CE 4.2/5.0 device via a CompactFlash or SDIO slot. The flexible antenna placement provides optimal range for your device.

ASICs
Socket’s proprietary mobilityIC™ chips provide an interface between Windows systems with CF or PC Card support to serial peripherals. These ASICs offer reduced development costs, condensed development schedule, minimal power consumption and more.
