SocketScan™ 10 Software Development Kit

The SocketScan 10 Software Development Kit (SDK) enables developers to easily add support for the Socket Bluetooth Cordless Hand Scanner (CHS) Series 7 portable barcode scanners into their mobile applications.

The SDK is compatible with a variety of mobile platforms, including:

• Windows Mobile 6
• Windows XP, Vista & 7
• BlackBerry OS 5
• Android OS 2.1 or later
• Apple iOS 4 or later

ScannerSettings : Tool for developers

ScannerSettings will only work with a compatible Socket Bluetooth CHS 7Xi and 7XiRx barcode scanner. It is used to configure and test the scanner. Configuration options include configuring the applicable symbologies, defining a suffix or prefix and controlling the user feedback mechanisms (LED, beep, vibrate). An iOS Version of 4.1 or higher is required.
