This release (164B) includes some "good link" timing improvements over the previous version of software.

This release will support Windows Mobile 5.0, Windows 2003/2003SE and Windows CE based devices.

The legacy Windows Mobile operating system will not be supported with this hardware. There will not be any support for Windows XP/2K drivers.

Unique features include:

The ability to quickly view Status information for the connection.
The ability to get complete IP information with release/renew features.
The ability to change card configuration from Low Power(Low throughput) settings to High Power(High performance).

NE2000 Compatibility 07/03/06

The Socket Rugged CF 10/100 card is not NE2000 compatible. NE2000 compatible drivers should function with this card after some small changes are implemented. These changes involve the initialization process and are limited in scope. Small differences exist in the NE2000 compatible register set but these do not affect general operation of the Rugged CF 10/100 card.

The zip file contains Driver porting notes, PHY files and the ASIX AX88790 L 10/100 Ethernet Controller datasheet.
