An RSS feed (also known as a content feed) is a site's syndicated content feed that you can subscribe to, using a newsreader. Syndication means you don't have to visit each site individually to see what's new—you simply scan headlines or brief article summaries and click to read the full text. That's a real time-saver, and also means you won't miss anything new!
The feed is updated whenever new content is published to the site. You can "subscribe" to feeds, which might contain a press releases, software updates, and new blog entries. If you see an item that piques your interest, just click on the link and you will be taken to a Socket Mobile site to read it.
It's easy to subscribe to Socket RSS feeds. You can download a newsreader that displays RSS feeds, or you can use a Web-based newsreader. At Socket Mobile, we make it easy: Simply select the way you want to view the RSS feeds from the menu on the Socket Mobile Feed Summary Page.
