| Wi-Fi® Companion™ Software Patch ONLY For Dell Axim X51v Handhelds with the A12 ROM Update Advanced Users Only. CAB File Installation ONLY! This Wi-Fi® Companion™ web patch corrects a known issue with the Dell A12 ROM update where the RSSI values and granularity are significantly changed from the A11 ROM. The range is now -50 (strongest) to -90 in 10-digit increments vs. the A11 ROM with a range of -25 to -90 in 5-digit increments. Note that with this patch installed, the reported percentages (0%, 25%, 50%, 100%) are a significant improvement over WFC 2.10.4 percentages (0%, 17%, 34%, & 67%) which never showed the max value of 100%. The 75% value will not display but the problem resides in Dell’s built-in Wi-Fi driver and cannot be resolved by Wi-Fi® Companion™. v2.10.13 Web Release (03/12/07) Language(s): English |
