Telepen Overview

Telepen was designed in the United Kingdom in 1972 to express all 128 ASCII characters without using the shift characters for code switching. It only uses two different widths for bars and spaces.

Telepen is supported by default on all Socket Mobile barcode scanners. You can enable or disable this symbology on your Socket Mobile scanner simply by scanning the codes below. Note: Scanner must be in a disconnected state before scanning the command barcode.
